Why isn't a large number of former NASA personnel ( including astronauts ) blogging for American Preeminence !!!

This has always seemed strange to me. However, when I discuss with friends ( ex NASA), I get the impression they aren't that interested. IMO, very hard to understand, would expect large number hitting the internet , pointing out how damaging to the USA our present course is!!
